'The whole attack of Queensland's case was against Eddie, all of the research was zeroed in on him because they saw him as the political stirrer. To some extent that was a good strategy because they understood, as we did, that he was the lynch pin to it, and if they'd been able to destroy him, I think they thought they could win the case, and so that was what they focussed in on - that he didn't inherit land or he was a charlatan.'
