John Ah Kit, Member of the Legislative Assembly of the Northern Territory, from the Jawoyn people:
'Successes are achievable working with companies that are not locked into colonialist ways of thinking and behaviour: they are prepared to work with Indigenous peoples... companies such as this will, over time, achieve a market advantage - particularly in northern and remote Australia. This market advantage will make them more profitable and, over time, those companies not prepared to deal equitably with Indigenous people will suffer the consequences of that prejudice and ignorance.'
