...A bad temper...
'We had our ups and downs like any other marriages. When Koiki saw things down the street - like if anything happened to the black fellas - they were getting treated badly, that would make him angry. If he'd get upset at work, well he comes home and I'm the nearest one there, so he takes it out on me. I got up and I left him but always came back again. After a while he sort of started to realise that he did have a bad temper and he got to control it.'
